The "disarm, defund, dismantle" chant is often used in response to police brutality. However, many systems and institutions were never intended to uplift Black or Brown communities. Life-threatening disparities exist acrosss education, healthcare, and more. This shirt is a reminder of what's needed: removing power from those who oppress others, reallocating funds to empower communities, and dismantling systems that penalize citizens based on race, gender, and/or socioeconomic status.
